Verizon And NASA To Collaborately Come Up With Drone Monitoring System

Verizon and NASA drone monitoring system will assist in air traffic manaement

The drone delivery technology is getting popular on a relatively stable pace paving way for a partnership between NASA and Verizon Communications Inc. the market for drone delivery has immense potential and many big companies like Facebook Inc. Amazon.com Inc., Google Inc. etc. are trying their best to establish a smooth network for drone delivery commercially.
According to a latest Verizon updates by Guardian, NASA and Verizon have collaborated to come up with a cell tower system that will ensure monitoring and better surveillance of civilian and commercial drones. Both the organization is evaluating ways that ensure the usage of cell towers in surveillance along with communication so that they can actually keep a track on drones. The net worth of this project is expected to be around $500,000 that will ensure that the drones fly safely and also device technologies that prohibit them from entering the highly sensitive regions like Pentagon or The White House.
Moreover, this technology will also ensure that operators ground the drones in weathers that are harsh along with the management of air traffic to ensure that no collision occurs.
According to the report by Guardian on Verizon news, NASA is all set to host the first experiment test for the management of drone air traffic control by utilizing satellites, radar and cellular signals in the upcoming weeks. Similar VZ is also devoted to developing a system that uses cellular networks in order to monitor drones by FY17.  The company is optimistic that they will be able to finalize the technology plans by FY19.
Tech giants like Google and Amazon are devoted to establishing and implementing their drone mechanism but at the same time they are also working with NASA so that they organization can conduct the test at its Silicon Valley Ames Research Center. Google has granted around $450,000 so that it can share the data obtained from the Project Wing tests. On the other hand Amazon has already spent $1.8 million approximately to conduct tests for its Prime Air delivery drones at the NASA center.
What many drone delivery services fail to overcome is the potential issues associated with air traffic control, the problem is that they cannot further afford any addition in terms of capacity.  In the future, drone delivery will be a key technology used by a majority of firm so now Verizon Communication and NASA have started working on a potential system that can make the process of the implementation of drones relatively easier.

 AT&T Inc

Consumers mainly use customer service for three reasons: issues with the device or service, queries regarding their accounts and account changes.
J.D. Power assesses carriers on how they provide customer service on phone calls, in-store and online. The firm analyzes on how successfully the issues are resolved, the ability of the carrier’s customer service to process concerns, as well as the duration of hold times.
The ranking can prove fruitful to the company since it adds to its credibility. Moreover, competition in this domain is quite cut-throat, hence, such surveys can assist the firm in luring customers from their competitors.
President and CEO AT&T Mobility, Glenn Lurie said: “Delivering an excellent customer care experience is one of the foundations of our overall relationship with customers. And it's going to get even better in 2015.”
