Facebook Inc Is Giving LinkedIn A Tough Time

Facebook has been stealing users of LinkedIn by also becoming a platform that offers job opportunities to professionals

Analysts have finally agreed on the fact that Facebook Inc is the biggest and most widely spread social media networking site all around the world. The website which was created by Mark Zuckerberg has been giving many other social websites a difficult time as it has been stealing the limelight for being the most used social media platform for the people in general. Currently, the social media giant has a user-base of 1.39 billion which has made it the most popular social stop over for all ages. However, social platforms like LinkedIn has been facing a constant challenge in the form of the social media network as it has only 347 million users that can be seen as active. This statistics has created a huge difference between both the available platforms in which FB is clearly the winner in being successful as having the largest user base.
LinkedIn has recently announced in its 4th quarter results that the company has been growing at a faster rate than how quick Twitter is moving forward. The company also mentioned that according to the user-base of its social networking agency, it has been on a close competition with Instagram which is also owned by Facebook.
LinkedIn has proved to be a very useful company for people who are looking for good jobs. As it says in the introduction of the company, it has made the process of looking for a job very easy and handy for the professionals. People who are interested in finding a job for themselves can make a profile of their own and give in all the required information after which the jobs that are best suited for them or the ones they are looking for will be directed to them.
Currently, LinkedIn is working towards reaching its aims and objectives of becoming the first choice for professionals for getting access to good jobs. In the last quarter of 2014, the company announced that for the current year it will be focusing on solidifying its base at an important networking site for web users.
LinkedIn has also been experiencing success in growing the company at a quick pace and one of the main reasons why this is becoming possible if due to its division of Talents Solution which has been noted as being responsible for helping the company raise the most revenue.
Surprisingly, Facebook has yet again been stealing the professional company’s user base by becoming a better source of providing jobs to the people. This is why the social media giant has been becoming a problem for LinkedIn by stealing its users.

Executives fleeing from Snapchat as It Enters Media Distribution

The higher management of the $15 million ephemeral is leaving Snapchat as it extends the business and plans to increase the revenue generated.

Snapchat is a social media firm that has taken all of the population by storm, like Facebook and Instagram, it is essential to “swap chat” anything and everything you wish. Not only has it begun the sports broadcasting but also the huge Ali Baba investment being nabbed at about $15 billion estimate. It seems that not everyone at the social messaging firm is enthralled by these deals and revenues.
There have been consecutive big resignations from the executives of the company. It includes Emily White who was hired as the COO of the company back in 2013. The Snapchat news has been shared by Re/code. She being the third top management personnel to leave the company suggests that not everything is alright within the company no matter how successful the recent advancements have been. Also, White being the Facebook alum had a little argument with the CEO, Evan Speigel.
She isn’t the only one who left, HR director Sara Sperling and revenue in- charge Mike Randall also left the company within eight and seven months of joining the firm. The connection between three lies in the association of them with Facebook, the social media giant. Sperling had been at Facebook and was looking for diversity initiatives. White was the senior executive who was responsible for getting the advertising for Instagram. On the other hand, Randall was VP for business / marketing at Facebook. Re/Code points out to this as a questionable thing as recently Snapchat has been into a news in a very positive way. When questioned about how the app’s monetization is taking place, the answer was shifting towards publishing. The Discover sector has been an interesting addition to the company. Netflix-inspired Internet series has been introduced by the company too. As far as the confirmation of White leaving is considered, "Emily is a talented executive and we thank her for her many contributions to Snapchat.”
What we can interpret from these two opposing news is that at one end, $15 million ephemeral company might be interested in extending the business and trying to generate more revenue but as far as the upper management is concerned, they might have a little argumentative approach towards it. We, as of now, have no clue where Emily White plans to make a difference next but the eyes are on her. Till then, keep posting seconds-long videos and crazy pictures on Snapchat! Also, we are hoping that no other higher management plans on leaving the company as it might come to all of us as a saddening news.
