The social media giant might be looking for big names in the industry to advertise on the media platform, but what the investors are unaware of is that the firm makes most of its money from small businesses and companies more than it does from the big companies in the industry.
In the same way, Google Inc is among those giants too who make majority of their cash inflows through successful ads. According to report, it was seen that around $17.26 billion were raised by the firm only from the ads on its website which shows just how important the ad industry is for the tech giant.
Facebook business, on the other hand, has been focusing more and more on advertisements that make the business into a successful one. It has long been depending too much on ad sales in the past quarters which has helped it to raise revenue by a mile. The news suggests that the company is working towards expanding its ads network through which revenue generation will become more established for the future. Analysts have given a close look to the situation and are of the opinion that in the upcoming days, the social media giant will have more to look forward in terms of receiving cash from adverts more than before.
One thing to be taken into consideration is the fact that firm is a little concerned over how to increase the sales of digital ads as the gaming activities on the PCs have decreased considerably. Apple Inc. is now conducting talks with distributors in Iran that will allow them to retail Apple core products in the region. This has been reported by the Wall Street Journal to sources close to the company.
This news comes part and parcel after the agreement which was signed by the five super powers across the globe including United States with the Iranian government. This is a milestone which was coined almost 2 years later after thorough analysis and negotiations in favor of the technological progress of Iran in terms of nuclear warheads. A settlement was reached by the two parties that resulted in a life of trade sanctions in Iran. The condition kept was that Iran should minimize its nuclear activities. The trade part is great news for several companies in the United States since Iran is a lucrative market and the tech behemoths can benefit from it.
Irrespective of the agreement, Apple does not have the power to retail its top notch core products like Apple iPhone in Iran for the time being, according to latest Apple updates. At first, the local government will have to come up with its new policies that will minimize the magnitude of the nuclear program before any company from the West establishes trade in the region.

Amazon Sales Soared Immensely On Prime Day

The company launched a Prime Day which started on July 15 has been successful so far, according to Amazon news. The company claimed and boasted that its Prime Day will be bigger and better than Black Friday and will offer more deals and discounts to customers, as reported by latest Aamzon updates.
However, the online retailers wanted to repay its loyal customers hence it only gave access to this Prime Day shopping to the Amazon Prime members who have paid $99 per year to avail free unlimited two day shipping and what not. Amazon received many complaints regarding its Prime day sales, the mishaps and inconveniences happened. However, the sales soared magnificently. According to CNN, the sales on Prime Day were up by 93 percent or more.
As CNN reports, “Amazon customers may not have been happy about Amazon's ‘Prime Day’ sales, but they sure were buying a whole lot from the site.” On Wednesday, the sales of the company due to Prime Day soared by a massive 93 percent and European sales were rocketed up by 53 percent. This was reported by Channel Advisor, a firm that specializes in online retail tracking. The firm collected all the data and information from companies that sell their products on Amazon’s platform, ‘extrapolating from its clients the number of sales Amazon generates site-wide.’
According to CNN, “Amazon promoted its sale as having more discounts than Black Friday. Although the sale was only open to Prime members, Amazon offered free 30-day Prime trials so anyone could partake.”
As the company stated itself, the order rates and sales surpassed than that of Black Friday last year. It is still unclear whether it really happened or not but if it did, Amazon lived up to its expectations and delivered what it said.
There were many complaints that various ‘Lightning Deals’ were sold out in a matter of seconds. The company explained, “We have years of experience with these types of events and we stagger the deals to make sure the fun will last through tonight.”
The company did bigger and better if compared to the Black Friday last year.

Tesla Motors Rising Challenges In Texas

The American electric vehicle manufacturer, Tesla Motors, has received a bad news from the United States of America. Tesla news exclaimed that to the disappointment of Elon Musk and his team, Governor Greg Abbot has stated that he sees no reason to amend the Lone Star State’s automobile selling law that does not let automakers sell cars on their own. It ensures that they do not bypass third party dealerships.
Press sources indicated that Greg’s comments were disclosed in an interview with Bloomberg Radio in which he has appreciated the state’s automobile sector and highlighted the usefulness of car dealers. Tesla news today disclosed that the South African born entrepreneur has been making efforts for years to amend these rules, as his current business model focuses on selling directly to consumers.
Tesla’s most recent effort failed in the Senate, where lawmakers refused to vote in favor of the Senate Bill 683 in May. It is most likely that Mr. Greg’s views would be welcomed by the Texas Automobile Dealership Association, which has tried to maintain the status quo. Wal-Mart Is Poaching eBay's Employees

Now, the company is all set to develop an online platform in the coming times. It is currently focused to work and expand its e-commerce market presence; hence, it is poaching workers from eBay. This will enable it to acquire experienced talent.
Wal-Mart Stores is raiding its archrival and is offering employment to eBay’s workforce so that it develops its open source and cloud platform. A report published in The Wall Street Journal stated that the online retailer, so far, hired more than 65 tech professionals from eBay. It is all set to beef up its cloud, open source software, data analytics, and searching segment in order to take on Amazon Inc. and its expanding cloud computing business.
Furthermore, in the past two years, the company has employed more than 45 executives, who previously worked at eBay. For the time being, not all the employees of online retailer, who are jumping ships and are quite content as Wal-Mart is hiring them, realize about the issues this company is going through because of the major transitions.
eBay has no issues with the departure of its employees, as it already released around 2,400 employees in the beginning of 2015 in order to prepare for the PayPal spinoff. Moreover, it also sold its 28.4% stake in Craiglist Inc.
According to sources, “Aside from this the company is also scouting for attractive acquisition deals. It is quite evident that eBay's objective is to transform itself into a leaner entity once its spin-off from PayPal is finalized. Facebook Targets Russian Users


The American social network blocks Russian user's accounts for abusive terms.

The American social network, Facebook, has received a bad news from Russia. Facebook news reported that President Vladmir Putin’s adviser, Igor Shchegolev, has urged that the Russian networkers should deactivate their accounts on the platform. The advice has been given after the company suspended the accounts of several Russians who had used a slang term “khokhol“ to refer to Ukrainians.
Facebook news today informed that the Ukrainian dictionary defines the term as an abusive name for a Ukrainian. The battle between rebels and the Eastern European country’s military force has amended the meaning of the abusive word, as it is now being interpreted as meaningless.
In the latter part of June, a Russian writer, named Eduard Havirov, was suspended from the social network for a time span of 7 days for using the notorious word. Similarly, Maxim Ksenzov, Deputy Head of the Russian communications regulator, Roskomnadzor, was banned for 24 hours.
According to Facebook breaking news, Ksenzov stated, “Tolerance is fashionable at the moment (and I’m not talking about the religious notion). But I don’t want to be tolerant! Soviet people are Soviet People. Sometimes khokhly are khokhly.”
Shortly after the ban, Maxim proclaimed to eliminate his social networking account on the social network platform. Press sources indicated that a journalist named Maxim Kononenko has also been targeted by the highhandedness of the enterprise. He was blocked for publishing a poem by Alexander Pushkin, a man widely recognized to be Russia’s greatest poet.
The company has also acted against the interests of a number of other Russian personalities, including Dmitry Popov and Anton Nosik. Tesla's CEO Hopes To Double Sales

Amazon's 20th Anniversary With "Prime Day", Their Answer To Black Friday


Amazon is celebrating its 20 years with Prime Day, which is going to be in 9 countries, beating Black Friday sales.
Latest Amazon news is regarding the 20 years of the U.S based e-commerce giant. Black Friday is considered to be the extravaganza for shopping in America which brings in a lot of money. Last November, it brought more than $1.5 billion of the revenue being generated from the online sales and has been considered as the single most essential day for the U.S retailers in this purpose.  However, the U.S based giant is looking to steal this thunder by introducing Prime Day.
The announcement has been made by the e-commerce giant that there shall be the Prime program being introduced in order to mark the 20th anniversary of the company. The countries include Spain, United Kingdom, United States, Canada, Austria, Italy, Japan, Germany and France.

However, it has not been specified by the company if that points out that there will be more deals offered by it on 15th July than the ones offered by it on Black Friday, if the value shall be worth more of the Prime Day deals, or if the company is hoping that Prime Day will trump the annual consumerism celebration.

The newly added button on users’ profiles is placed right beside the ‘Edit Profile’ button, the account switch button, and the settings button. Previously, some users have mistaken this new button as a shortcut to the analytics of social media.  
When a user clicks on the newly added button on its profile, they are allowed to manage the ad campaigns on Twitter. As Tech Crunch reports, “Not everyone is happy with the change, which some Twitter users are calling “desperate,” or “ugly.” And it’s hard to find fault with those sentiments. If you’re not currently running a Twitter ad campaign, the feature does nothing more than let you know that this button serves as a place where you can manage an ad campaign in the future – it doesn’t go so far as to allow users to actually get started building their first campaign from the app itself.”
Twitter is working very hard to keep up the pace with the market leader which was made clear via its recent Twitter news. Hence every now and then, it is adding new monetization features in order to beef up its ads sector. Facebook leads the market of advertising with Google, Twitter and Yahoo behind it.
