Facebook's Music Streaming Service; Rumor or Truth?

The social media giant is reportedly working on a music streaming service that is going to hit the market in a few months only
The recent news about Facebook business is that the social media firm is looking towards the possibilities of launching a music service of its own, as stated by Music Ally, which is known for being a reliable source for obtaining strategies and information regarding the business of music. The social media platform is reportedly working towards making its space in the music streaming industry which has surprised the analysts and made the investors excited. However, Music Ally has furthermore talked about the plans of the media firm by informing the press that this is not something strange or relatively new for the social media giant as this is something it was planning to do already.
As per the released news, Facebook seems to be way ahead in its plans of making an entry into the music business as per what the whole industry believes. It is also speculated that the music streaming service gets started in less than a few months from where the firm seems to be working. The media company has decided to not create a system right from the beginning on which it can run the said music service. For this reason, the firm has decided to get in talks with potential businesses who would provide it with a system that is not only trust worthy but which is also reliable for a longer period of use.
The system that Facebook is rumored to be looking for a ‘content ID’ system that is said to be similar to what is being used by YouTube which is a video streaming website. On the other hand, the social networking company is looking for systems it can rely on and a third party that will help the firm to reach the goals it has decided to achieve in the music streaming business.
The content ID system, as per the analysts believe is a networking system that needs to be worked upon by the networking giant before any further deals are made b Facebook. The firm will be making deals in the future with music producers for them to sell their music on the streaming service that it will be launching soon and for that purpose, the content ID system needs to be looked upon first.
Through the ID system that Facebook has decided to adopt for its music service, the owners of the music will be able to identify their own music if it is seen somewhere else on the service and revenue from that will also be given to them.
