Google Acquires Fly Labs To Gain Superior Photo, Video Editing

Google has acquired of photo and video editing experts, Fly Lab, for better quality videos.

Google has taken a measure to please video viewers. It is aiming to offer better editing abilities through acquiring Fly Labs, which is known for specializing in user-friendly video and picture editing application.
Google news affirmed that Fly Labs is known for developing softwares that provide time-lapse, cropping, slow motion and other editing options, and presently has four offerings that could be availed in iOS devices. One is known as Tempo, which provides time-lapse and slow-motion tools, and lets users make an adjustment to the tempo’s speed from slowest, slow to fast and fastest, whereas the second software, acts as a stripped down video-editing application for smartphones.
The third software, named Fly, lets users edit videos utilizing gesture controls, whereas the fourth, Crop, provides its users, who made a video from their smartphone, make a readjustment to the video so it seems like it was made horizontally.
Google news today exclaimed that the video and picture company affirmed that in past one and a half year, its video-editing applications’ downloading was carried out more than 3 million times in more than 150 different states, and is boasting more than 20 million videos shot with apps made by Fly Labs.
The company posted in a blog, "Our mission at Fly Labs has always been simple: to help people make the most of their photos and videos, We make video editing apps because we believe that there's no better way to stay connected with your memories than by engaging with them creatively."
Google observed that apps would be obtainable on the Apple App Store for three more months, so people could yet download them. In addition, they could also make changes to videos, but points out that the video and picture editing application developer would not submit any more updates to the apps. Once these are taken out of the App Store, users would yet be in the position to make use of them, but they would no longer be offered for download.
Google Breaking news reported that the video and photo editing company wrote on its webpage, "We’re excited to continue on our mission by joining Google and the Google Photos team in Mountain View, California. Google Photos is a home for your life's memories, powered by Google's machine learning and computer vision technology”. Despite of the victory of Google+, the organization’s foray into the social media, Google Photos has succeeded much more after it spun off in its own universe.
It could be assumed that the acquisition would improve Google’s image in the competitive industry.
