Ford Sales In China Reaches 1 Million Mark


The sales of the Ford Motors could soon reach the 1 million mark in China.
The financial position of the Ford Motors company has improved. The Michigan-based company is about to sell 1 million units for deliveries in the People’s Republic of China, delivering 106,208 automobiles in November to take the year to date (YTD) figure to 990,356. November performance improved by 9% compared to the last year. The carmaker’s passenger vehicle joint project Changan Ford Automobile was able to deliver 84,546 automobiles throughout the month, a 22% rise compared to the last year.
Ford news exclaimed that the year to date sales of CAF totaled 739,465 units, up 3% compared to 2014. The Ford Mondeo proved to be quite significant in November, with nameplate’s sales increased by 13% to 12,431. The sedan’s YTD sales crossed the 100,000 mark. Ford sports utility vehicles’ sales have continued to be strong, with both the Ford Edge and Ford Kuga delivering more than 10,000 automobiles each in the last month.
The vehicle manufacturer’s commercial automobile investment Jingling Motors Corporation delivered 20,608 automobiles in the last month, a 20% decline compared to the previous year. JMC’s YTD sales were 226,968 automobiles, which represents a decrease of 5% compared to the previous year. “We are pleased that more and more customers are relying on Ford to provide them with vehicles they both want and value,” stated John Lawler, chairman and CEO of Ford Motor China. “We remain committed to offering a full range of high-quality, safe, smart and fuel-efficient vehicles in China.”
Ford news today affirmed that in the last month, the automotive organization released its leading product Taurus sedan in the Guangzhou Auto show. This release marks the sale of the company’s pledge to bring 15 automobiles to the second largest economy by this year. In 2016, the company would continue to provide Chinese clients with excellent automobiles, encompassing two new energy automobiles, Ford Mondeo hybrid powered automobile and the Ford C-MAX Energi plug in hybrid electric automobile.
The sales figures of the automaker have been disclosed at a time when the carmaker’s Russian division is looking to expand its exports, as lower levels of sales in its local market might prevail for 12 months, its Chief executive spoke to Reuters. The Russian automotive industry is a significant casualty of the financial crisis that has resulted due to Western sanctions over the battle in Ukraine and decline in gasoline prices.
Ford Breaking news reported that car sales have declined by 30% per annum in the 1st 10 months of this year as the buying power of a purchaser has been adversely affect and the levels of business activity have contracted.
