Snapchat Introduces A Replaying Feature

The American photo messaging service provider Snapchat launches an update to help users enjoy replays
The American photo messaging service provider Snapchat introduces a new feature. Snapchat news affirmed that the firm has launched its first in-application purchases, which has been designed to let users procure the capacity to replay already-witnessed images and videos. The new update which could be only availed in United States for the time being, offered replays in packs of 3 for $0.99. In the absence of the replays, users can only see any given photo or video once, and get an extra replay free of charge daily. The offer is the most recent step taken away from the concept of “ephemeral messaging” which is known for lying at the organization’s center.
Snapchat news today informed that earlier, the users were allowed to share a message just once, secure in the details that once it was observed, it can never be observed again. Replays, launched in 2013, distancing away at part of that, offering the capacity to see one message a day a 2nd time; so was done with its launch, in October that year of Snapchat Stories, which provides the service users publish video and images on the software which could be permanently replayed for 1 day after they have posted.
Snapchat breaking news revealed that he company has stated that, “We’ve provided one replay per Snapchatter per day, sometimes frustrating millions of Snapchatters who receive many daily Snaps deserving of a replay. But then we realized- a replay is like a compliment! So why stop just at once?”
With the launch of additional replays for a charge, the new tool also launches “lenses”. The Spiegel founded enterprise would employ the facial recognition technology to amend the user’s face in real-time, with frankly dangerous outcomes.
7 lenses are a part of the 1st batch, and while the firm doesn’t state as much, it seems probable that the California based organization would be testing the application based procurements to offer more diversity in the future. The new tools represent the first major renovation of the company’s core messaging feature in a while. The firm has recently demonstrated more of a focus on its media service, SnapChat Discover which is known for letting publishers like Vice Upload and Buzz feed post news stories and shareable material directly to the software.
It is probable that the user friendly tool would threaten the interests of the firm’s rivals, while being advanced and innovative with the photo-sharing app.
