The search engine giant has signed a deal with media company Twitter in order to take down other rivals in the industry
According to the most recent Google news, the tech giant has reportedly signed a deal with networking firm Twitter in order to build up a collaboration that gives a tough time to companies like Facebook and Apple who have been dominating the media industry with little to compete with.
Both the tech giants will be making sure that a project is launched that ends up working against the rival giants which seem to leave no space for other companies to work in the industry successfully. A report was recently launched by Re/Code which discussed how the search engine giant and the instant messaging site are competing against not only Mark Zuckerburg’s company but there is also the iPhone makers who have emerged with a news app that provides every day information to the users through very convenient means. Another startup that offers similar services to the users is Snapchat which has a Discover option that lets the public know of everything that is going around them.
According to latest Google updates, analysts on the other hand, have turned out to focus entirely on the dominance Facebook has in the news industry and how Google business has to work against the social media giant to make sure things work in its way. It is also believed by the analysts that the media site has been growing at a very quick speed which means that if the company comes up with a news option on the site or its app for smartphones, it is more likely that it manages to attract more users towards its new ventures than any other firm which is still working to get more users to its network.
By the end of the current year, this collaboration between Twitter and Google will show signs of materializing and soon it will be signing up deals with publishers who will be putting up content on site for users to get direct news reports and articles from. The service that both the giants of the tech industry have decided to launch has not been given a name yet but analysts are of the opinion that once that is done, it will be easier for the joint venture to attract more users towards availing the services. With the help of the instant article feature, users will be able to see the full article which has been published by the publishers with the help of a single click only.
The firms have also decided on making the project available to the users as an open source which will be making it stand out from all the other similar services being offered in the market.
