Microsoft launched several emoticon's in Windows 10 that resemble Apple's Emoji
Microsoft Corp. is one of those companies that have evolved in a fairly short span of time. The company had been stumbling since a while now where all Microsoft products and services had been abandoned by consumers. However, things have changed to a great extent now since they are not only trying to come up with two ranges of products one similar to top notch brands and the other that are focused to attract users who wish to opt for cheap yet luxurious smartphones.
Moreover, similar to Apple the company has also started to roll out free updates on its operating system to attract the masses, according tot latest Microsoft news. Lastly, a major concern with Microsoft was that the company could not pursue developers to come up with more apps. However, at this point they are actually forcing more developers to engage with Windows operating system platform.
Another major advancement that will certainly make Microsoft users happy is the new emoji in Windows 10 that are quite similar to the emoji’s found in Apple products like iPhone, Mac, iPad etc. These new emoticons include a wide array of smileys and faces along with “sassy” office personnel. This is not it, but the upgrade also includes the skin tone changes which Apple has recently updated in its new software update. Along with this there are more similar emoticons like haircut and middle finger emoticons etc. however, Microsoft has still not upgraded to country flags yet on its new operating system.
Microsoft’s beta version of Windows 10, as reported by latest Microsoft news today is currently available only for developers and will soon make its way for the masses by July, the fiscal year of 2015. The company is satisfied with the latest operating system and is expected to provide users with a diverse experience ensuring platform integration. This will actually make it easy for users to leave one device and switch on another from the point the user left. It is also said, that the company’s software update will be actually free of cost for Windows 7 and Windows 8.1 for the first year of service.
Most of the emoji characters have been transformed into a Unicode, this has actually resulted in the icons to be standardized on several forums that also include operating systems like Windows, OS X, Android, iOS , Windows etc. so now how exactly the emoticons will appear actually depends on industry giants like Twitter, Microft, Apple and Google. So now considering the possibilities Microsoft has modified its emoticons and they are far more cleaner than Apple’s emoji collection.
