The device’s capacitive touch screen would sense and examine one’s ear when he or she presses it against the phone, which then develops an image that can be employed to recognize the user and unlock the phone.
The corporation has also pioneered a process to ensure that ‘Bodyprint’ operates with other body parts, which include knuckles, fingers, palms, and fists, while employing the phone’s screen to develop a low-resolution image unique to each user. This could then aid the process of locking and unlocking files. The use of different body organs indicates that the security procedure can make use of the whole body.
Experts stated the view that this scanning process would make the lives of phone users convenient, as people already hold their phone close to their ears.
