According to research firm, J.D. Power, AT&T secured top position as the best network carrier in terms of customer satisfaction. Customer service is an imperative part of any organization, especially for wireless carriers.
AT&T Inc has secured first position in terms of customer service satisfaction in the wireless industry.
In a recently conducted study, led by research firm J.D. Power, AT&T scored 786 points out of 1000, T-Mobile stood second with 777 points while Verizon Communications acquired third position with 771 points.
Consumers mainly use customer service for three reasons: issues with the device or service, queries regarding their accounts and account changes.
J.D. Power assesses carriers on how they provide customer service on phone calls, in-store and online. The firm analyzes on how successfully the issues are resolved, the ability of the carrier’s customer service to process concerns, as well as the duration of hold times.
The ranking can prove fruitful to the company since it adds to its credibility. Moreover, competition in this domain is quite cut-throat, hence, such surveys can assist the firm in luring customers from their competitors.
President and CEO AT&T Mobility, Glenn Lurie said: “Delivering an excellent customer care experience is one of the foundations of our overall relationship with customers. And it's going to get even better in 2015.”
AT&T has delivered exceptional services when it comes to customer care. It has maintained its top spot for a few years now, which only indicates the company’s level of commitment. It is one of those companies which has grown over the years through acquisitions, and now stands as one of the largest service providers globally.
this year too, AT & T is expected to get a nod of approval on its acquisition of DirecTV network around mid-year, which time will tell that how well it would play for the giant.
